Hank Steinbrenner says football has bigger steroid problem than baseball

ESPN – Hank Steinbrenner says football has bigger steroid problem than baseball – MLB

And this has what to with baseball?! Sounds like they are trying to shift some of the “news” to another sport. Well, let the NFL worry about it, and more importantly, you worry about your sport!

By the way, here is a tissue and some cheese.

  1. >I admit I don’t care for the crying and dry snitching either but he has a point. Personally I think Congress could focus on some other issues like war, economy, or health care but for now let’s agree that social issues like performance enhancing drugs in sports should not be ignored. If you are going to clean it up clean it all. Why DOES football get a pass? Baseball must be saying if you’re going to leave them alone get out of our house too. It’s unfair.

  2. >I’m not saying that football should have a free pass, but who has the problem, football, or baseball? I don’t hear about football at all, but I am hearing, and have heard about baseball having a problem.

  3. >come on pat..I’ve been around football all my life: Played, coached, watched. I know that now they have better facilities, nutrition down to a science, and dynamic training that helps master technique for recognition, coordination, speed, agility, balance, explosion, etc. Still in my humble opinion that alone can’t account for the performance of todays athlete. Look at their bodies. Look at their performance. Look at their behavior. Did you see B Bonds sitting in his dugout licking his bat?!?! Look in NFL players eyes and tell me these guys aren’t also on alert + pills as well. They are cheating man. videotape and all-lol y would NFL stop it? look how exciting it is! Look how much $ they are making.
